Ndao Island is one of the smallest and the most outermost island in Indonesia. Its size approximately 2.1 x 7.2 , so we can barely spot it on the map. It makes this island even more unique and amazing.

Ndao Island is located next to Rote island and close to Nuse Island, Do’o Island and Ndana Island. If you visit Ndao Island, you will find very wide, clean, and beautiful white sand. The blue and rows of coconut trees add the beauty of Ndao Island. The people in this island are very friendly, no wonder they will greet all visitors on Ndao Island. Most women or the people call them as “Ina-ina” weav in their house. That is the hallmark of Ndao Island.People call this island as “Pulau Tenunan” which means Woven Island.

Ndao Island has several spots that are not known by many travelers. One of them is Oly beach with its white sand. Ndao is a paradise of white sandy beach, there are “Batu Buaya” that has-mystical stories, Lia Dhimu beach, Lia Ha beach, “Batu Kapur”, Marge is the best place for having picnic with family, and there are several other unique spots that are worth visited by tourists.

Ndao Island hasn’t got lodging, such as hotels, villas, and others. However you should not be worried because the people in this island are super friendly so you stay in the residents’ house.
When the dusk comes, you can relax by enjoying the sunset because Ndao Island is one of the best places to enjoy the sunset. Don’t forget to capture your moments on Ndao Island by taking as many pictures as possible and then post them on your social media so that Ndao island will be better known.
